NEFA, 1963. — xix + 63 p. Taraon, or Digaro, is spoken in the Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is one of two 'Mishmi' languages, the other being Idu. Generally regarded as belonging to the Sino-Tibetan Family, some linguists now propose they may form an independent language family of their own.
