Since the first volume appeared in 1957, the four contracts found at a different spot on the site have been fully published elsewhere, and many lexical texts have been utilized in other publications to form composite texts. This volume contains all the remaining tablets which are legible. Only a residue of uninscribed and illegible fragments have been left unpublished, and a list of these is included. The following categories of text are represented: Akkadian literary texts (mostly small fragments), Sumerian and bilingual texts, rituals, medical texts, hemerologies and menologies, omens, astronomical, astrological, and some lexical texts and commentaries.
