The fragments reflect the contemporary literary style. The colloquial verses are partially enriched with epic or tragic quotations; they often contain mythological parodies, gastronomic indulgences and satirical representations of contemporary behavior, often written in a fine ironic tone. The aim of the series is, on the one hand, to open up the usually very demanding and difficult-to-understand fragments from a variety of perspectives, on the other hand, where possible, to attempt a reconstruction of the pieces and to make a literary-historical classification of the authors. The fragments and testimony are translated to it.
