Georg Olms Verlag, 1971. — 352 p. — (Catalogue général des antiquités égyptiennes du Musée du Caire).
The present volume ends the publication of Zenon papyri in the Catalogue
general. Along with the better preserved texts I have included a large number
of fragments and might easily have added many more of similar quality to those
catalogued; the only difficulty was to decide where to stop. But on the whole
the remaining pieces , of which I have transcribed more than two hundred, are
so very fragmentary that it does not seem justifiable to publish them in this
rather sumptuous form. Their main interest consists in the possibility that they
may be combined with other fragments in other collections; and all editors of
such are welcome to make use of them, either by studying them in Cairo or by
communicating with me.
