In part two the lessons are based on what is taught in part one, and every lesson begins with the oral teaching of the vocabulary needed for that lesson by various audio-visual means such as objects, pictures and drawings, whiteboard illustrations, and for stress and intonation of sentences with the aid of cassettes, and a change of voice by the teacher for emphasising a point in a sentence.
The lesson continues with reading practice and oral questions and answers, and is followed by writing exercises. In this phase, too, frequent repetition of words and sentences and reviews (both oral and written) is necessary to lay a firm foundation for dialog silent and loud reading and proper writing.
